Outfit & Style Guide
Warm, Light, Clear & Bright / Warm, Light, Clear & Bright
You belong to the Light Spring type! Warm, light, and clear. Your skin shines in bright, gentle, warm shades like peach, light coral, and pastel greens. These bring out your lively yet elegant charm.
Style & Makeup Recommendations:
Light, warm, and highly clear. Your colors are soft but bright.
Keep the overall contrast low. Blend pastel colors with light neutrals like ivory, milk tea, or light camel. Avoid all heavy dark tones like black or dark brown near your face.
Light, shiny gold or warm yellow-gold. Heavy silver is too cold, but dainty white-gold can work if styled with peach tones.
Light Spring is most often confused with Light Summer: both share a delicate, low-contrast look. The divider is undertone. Hold gold and silver jewelry against your bare face in daylight — if gold makes your skin glow while silver looks slightly grey, you are on the Spring side. A peach-versus-rose lipstick test works the same way: peach freshens a Light Spring, while rosy pink flatters a Light Summer.
The other neighbor is Bright Spring, which shares your warmth but tolerates far more intensity. If a vivid poppy red or saturated turquoise starts to wear you rather than the other way around, stay with Light Spring's softer corals and aquas.
Choose makeup that echoes your warm, light coloring: an ivory or warm-beige foundation with a yellow undertone, a peach or apricot blush, and lipsticks in light coral, peachy nude, or warm rose. Brown mascara and soft champagne-bronze eyeshadow keep the eye area fresh — jet-black liner can look severe against your delicate contrast.
For hair color, stay in the golden family: honey blonde, golden caramel, or light warm brown. Ash tones and blue-black are the quickest way to make a Light Spring look tired.
Pure black overwhelms Light Spring's delicate, warm coloring — worn near the face it casts grey shadows. Swap it for camel, soft warm navy, or creamy ivory; and if a dress code demands black, keep it below the waist or place a peach or coral scarf between the black and your skin.
The biggest offenders are stark black, pure white, and heavy cool shades such as burgundy, charcoal, and fuchsia. Dusty, greyed tones also dull your natural freshness. When in doubt, ask two questions of any color: is it warm, and is it light? If either answer is no, treat it with caution.
Light Spring is a warm season — a golden undertone paired with low-to-medium contrast. Among the eight sub-seasons it sits closest to the warm–cool boundary, which is why the gold-versus-silver and peach-versus-rose tests are so useful for confirming it. Read more in our warm/cool undertone guide.
