Outfit & Style Guide
Warm, Deep, Rich and Solid / Warm, Deep, Rich and Solid
You belong to the Deep Autumn type! Warm, muted, and deep. Rich, dark earthy colors like terracotta, mustard yellow, and deep forest green suit your deep coloring perfectly, projecting a strong, elegant, and sophisticated presence.
Style & Makeup Recommendations:
Deep, warm, and highly saturated. You look luxurious in rich, dark earthy colors.
Choose dark, rich warm tones as base colors, such as terracotta, forest green, deep chocolate, or dark mustard. Avoid cool pastel colors and icy cool tones, which will wash you out.
Antique gold, bronze, or heavy copper. Darker, heavy, textured warm metallic jewelry balances your high depth beautifully. Avoid silver.
The classic rival is Deep Winter — the other deep, high-impact season. The split is undertone, and red is the referee: a tomato or brick red warms a Deep Autumn face to life, while a blue-based cherry red does the same for Deep Winter. Gold versus silver, and olive versus pure white, deliver the same verdict from different angles.
Within the autumns, compare yourself with Soft Autumn: same warmth, different volume. If espresso, rust, and forest green at full strength energize your face rather than swamp it — and camel alone feels a little bland — you are Deep, not Soft.
Rich pigment is your friend: a golden-beige foundation, blush in warm bronze or brick, and lipsticks in brick red, burgundy-brown, or spiced terracotta — sheer pastel lips disappear on you. Eyeshadows in copper, bronze, espresso, and deep olive make warm eyes glow; dark-brown liner gives definition with less severity than black, though you are one of the few autumns who can flirt with black liner.
For hair, stay deep and warm: dark chocolate, auburn, mahogany, or espresso with caramel dimension. Platinum and ash blonde clash with everything your coloring does well.
Deep Autumn handles black better than any other autumn — your depth can meet it halfway — but it is still a compromise: black reads flat where espresso, dark chocolate, and deep olive read rich. Use black in texture-heavy fabrics or below the waist, and let the truly deep-warm neutrals frame your face.
Icy pastels, powdery pinks, and cool greys wash a Deep Autumn out to a shadow, and dusty mid-tones (greige, mauve) leave you looking unfinished. Blue-based brights like fuchsia fight your golden undertone head-on. When a color is both pale and cool, it is doubly wrong for you.
Deep Autumn is warm — a golden or bronze undertone carried at high depth. Because deep coloring can superficially resemble Winter, undertone tests matter more than depth here: warm reds, gold metal, and olive tones flattering you is the Autumn signature.
